What This Program Offers
CHAC 5-Year Deferral provides up to $12,000 in deferred down payment assistance statewide for buyers at or below 80% AMI.
- No monthly payments for the first five years; after year five, the loan converts to an amortizing second mortgage.
- Available through CHAC-approved lenders and can complement CHFA or metroDPA programs.
